Contact us by e-mail or phone us with the dates you wish to book (arrival and departure dates) and the number of people. If the apartment is free in that period we will block those dates for you and write straight back, asking you to send a down payment (25% of the total) within 48 hours. This can be done easily through PayPal, a secure online service that handles payments. We need to confirm your booking quickly so that if you change your minds we can free the apartment for other bookings. The rest of the sum will be paid in cash on arrival. We’ll let you know immediately if the dates are already booked.
Paypal: We’ll contact PayPal and they will send you an e-mail giving you a link for instructions on how to make the payment. You can give your credit card number, or if you prefer, a prepaid VISA card number. Once your down payment is made, PayPal will inform us immediately so we can confirm your booking and dates.
Per night: off-season, 1-2 persons: € 90, 3 persons:€ 1004 persons: €110
High season, 1-2 persons: €100, 3 persons: € 1104 persons:€ 120. The price includes gas and electricity consumption, linen and towels are provided. No pets.
Off-season is usually from 1st November through to 15th March, and also for all August. 24 December to 2nd January and Easter period are considered high season. Regular sales are held in January and July with good bargains. On foot, cross over to the other side (Via Giolitti) then walk down Via Giolitti towards the back of the station until you reach Via Bixio. No. 8 is on the corner of Via Giolitti. Alternatively, you can take bus No. 105 which is the first one right outside the front of the station. Get off at the third bus stop, cross the road on the station side and you'll be in Via Bixio which runs towards the station. Two blocks away and you'll reach No. 8, on the corner of Via Giolitti. We are in Scala A (the first, front stairway) - the intercom is on the right of the big, main door. Look for Int 29 with names 'Caporicci - Pudney' and ring us. We'll answer and press open the main door for you and you take the lift, which is in the courtyard immediately on the right, up to the fifth floor. Your flat is No. 28, but we'll be at home, next door, at 29.
Arriving by plane: - From Fiumicino Airport (L. da Vinci).There’s a shuttle-bus door-to-door service that leaves from outside the airport and costs less, depending on the number of passengers, for details see: WWW.airportshuttle. If not, take the direct train Leonardo Express for Termini Station. (Every 30 minutes from 7:00 am to 10:40 pm. at 14 euros per ticket). Taxis have a fixed price of 45 euros (set down by the Rome town council) maybe worth it for four persons.
- By train from Fiumicino airport: when you arrive, take the lift down to street level (the lift/escalator is hidden in a back corner after the stairs). Leave the station and you'll be in Via Giolitti, the street that runs down beside the station. Not counting the first street just outside the station entrance, Via Bixio is the second street (walking away from the station), and No. 8 is right on the corner of Via Giolitti. - - From Ciampino Airport (Pastine), if you take a taxi the fixed price is 30 euros, but beware, the taxi-driver may say it’s 50 euros, don’t fall for it. If you take the Shuttle Service Terravision bus you arrive at Termini railway station, Via Marsala, which is on the other side of the station from Via Bixio.
